Wife and I will be Cozumel near the end of March. Two questions.

Where does the Carnival Dream tie up? This will be our third time there

this winter and have been a the dock which is a few miles from the town.

Also looking for a beach that is not all rock and also has trees for shade.

All help welcomed,

Dennis/Doughball

Lots of beach clubs in Cozumel will meet your needs - are you looking for all inclusive? Water toys? Lively atmosphere? Quiet and relaxing? Snorkeling from the shore? Good for kids? Adults only?

Nachi Cocom is an all-inclusive (food/drinks) for about $55 each - limited to 130 guests per day, with no water toys, so very few families/kids show up, and lots of palm trees, shade and palapas. Some of the reviews here have complained that the sand is too soft! Taxi each way - for up to 4 in the cab - will be about $17

Give us some more info and the suggestions are more likely to be closer to your target. ;)

Playa Palancar is farther away but will be quieter and offers nice beach and pay as you go food/drinks. Taxi will be about $25 each way.

Paradise Beach is a large beach club with great facilities, a HUGE pool, okay beach, plus water toys and pay as you go food/drinks. $3 admission fee/chair rental. Taxi will be about $17 each way.

Money bar offers lots of chair, shade, trees, etc. plus great facilities and offers good snorkeling from the shore - but no sandy beach (you enter the water via steps), plus good food, drinks and service. Pay as you go and taxi will be about $11 each way.

Your call! :D

John has given good suggestions of where to go.

For future reference, good but not 100% accurate - things change!
