Received an email from Princess. The highlights:

"Cast your ballot for Princess for a chance to win a $10,000 dream vacation!"

"Vote for us in the 2018 Travel + Leisure Awards and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a trip for two worth $10,000."

If you click through, it takes you to the T+L awards site.

The email misleads the reader into thinking that Princess will reward them with an entry into a contest in exchange for their vote, when in fact the contest is offered by T+L.

SHAMELESS!!! Trawling for votes like that. Princess should be ashamed.

You mean you did not go and vote for the The Rowboat in any of the categories?

The Rowboat doesn’t need any votes to prove it’s #1. If you’re ever lucky enough to come aboard you will know it’s the Best Rowboat on the Charles River in Boston. (y)

Nothing new..but the cruise lines still get me to click every so often..... and there are winners...but the fact that I have to in put info that the cruise line already has........ steers me clear, also agreeing to the rules....I think that can mean more unsolicited phone calls:eek:

ALL the cruise lines ply TAs for their votes. It gets really, really old how many emails they send out begging for votes - not just Princess, but ALL of them. I purposely won't vote for any of them just because of it. These "contests" mean absolutely nothing.

Yes they do, which was the point I tried to make the other week when people complained that Princess didn’t win enough awards.
