Was happy hour still a daily event in the Wheelhouse Bar? We will be on the Ruby on March 10th for a California coastal cruise. Can you also tell us who the Captain and Cruise Director was for your cruise. Appreciate your time.

Cheers - Ken & Darlene

Excellent inquiry Ken and Darlene! I anxiously await the response :)

I really don't drink so where would I find out information about happy hour? Would I find it in the Patters?

Thanks for checking!

How did you like Peter-John?

We met him on our Royal Princess cruise last April. He was one of 3 art directors with one guy at a higher rank than them.

His personality is perfect for a CD!

Thank you for posting! That's probably why I can't find anything in the patters :(

I can confirm that there was never any BOGO offered at anytime on this cruise either in the afternoon or late evening hours. We were on the Ruby in late November for a 10 day Sea of Cortez and it was being offered then so it has changed since then.

A couple of questions: what movies were playing? We’re the sea days chilly?

Hello Pam.... It was cool and we had sprinkles in Cabo. We had warm weather the day we left Cabo. On the way back, IT WAS FREEZING!!! It was so cold in the Horizon Court that I could not stand it. But we had a wonderful time!

Movies....

Battle of the sexes (2017)

Mark Felt: The man who brought down the White House

Murder on the Orient express (2017)

Thor: Ragnarok

Eddie the Eagle

Grease

The Lego Batman movie

Beauty and the beast

Guardians of the galaxy volume two

The Princess bride

The shape of water

Three billboards outside ebbing, Missouri

Please forgive all of the grammatical errors as I am having problems with this webpage and my iPad making auto corrections.

Did they show movies in the Princess theatre every afternoon? Will be going on Monday for the 5 night Cabo and think it will be very cool outside, too cool for MUTS.Hope they offer a lot to do inside. Was Los Brilliantes, the Mexican band and singers on your cruise.

Glad to hear the cruise director is good.He is a new one for me and I guess most of us.The shows at night might be different than yours.

I just got off of the Ruby today as well. The embarkation was absolutely flawless. I have never seen an embarkation go so smoothly.

was surprised to see that life vests are no longer needed for the muster drill.

WE all nearly had to "muster" second night out when a woman went missing from Aloha deck. It took announcements ship wide every 15 minutes starting at @230AM before she was found. If she was not found I was told everyone was going to have to go to their muster stations so the entire ship could be searched!
