The cruise is off to a great start. We’ve already had the Cruise Critic get together and the Captain’s Club party.

Here are some pictures of no particular importance from the ship.

That is the famous Luminae burger. But I will tell you in all honesty that it looks a lot better than it tastes. It’s too big, too dense, too lean and it really doesn’t taste like a hamburger. I haven’t tried the Mast Grill yet but those burgers look and smell like they’d taste better.

Boarding began about 10:30. There were not yet any long lines at check in and we walked right on the ship. At that time it didn’t matter that we were in a suite. Anyone could have checked in and boarded quickly.

Ohhh. Another review from the ship!! We’ll be on board in a little over a month & I love seeing the photos and getting excited. Did your itinerary change or is it the original for you?

I'm pretty sure they're on Eastern Caribbean, since I think the Equinox alternates.

Thius looks a very tasty set of bites -- where are they from? Are they canapes?

Yes those four items are the canapés from the butler.

Another great dinner in Luminae which was much less crowded tonight due to the port stop in San Juan.

Desserts included chocolate napoleon and hazelnut chocolate cake.

Today’s port stop was St Thomas. Charlotte Amalie was like a ghost town since there was only one other ship in port. We got to visit our favorite attraction, Diamonds International.

Excellent production show tonight, Elysium. Michael’s Club continues to be virtually empty. Dinner tonight was good but dessert even better.

Tomorrow is St Maarten.
