Beach club day passes in Bermuda

We sail July 16 on the Breakaway to Bermuda and plan on doing excursions/beaches on our own. Does anyone know which hotels/resorts offer day passes to use their beach area? We could go to Horseshoe Bay for the day, but we did this in Cozumel on a RC cruise a couple of years ago and it was great.

There are some reviews on the ports of call page. I believe they have all been good reviews.

There have been at most two hotels in Bermuda in recent years offering day passes, Coco Reef and Elbow Beach.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I would never pay to use a beach in Bermuda. The public beaches are beautiful and Bermuda is not a place where you have to worry about your safety on the beach or being hassled by wandering vendors. Horseshoe Bay Beach has chair and umbrella rentals, food and drink for sale and changing facilities. It's much closer to the ship than either of the hotels offering day passes.

ditto njhorseman. there is absolutely no need to pay for a beach in Bermuda. they are plentiful, and many have facilities if that is of importance to you.

I disagree, while we enjoyed Horseshoe Bay beach, it was very crowded. I have been to both Coco Reef, and Elbow Beach on a day pass. Both were wonderful. If anyone in your group has a mobility issue, there is a steep set of stairs at Coco Reef to get to the beach. Elbow Beach Resort takes you down in a golf cart. Any questions, feel free.

We did a day pass at Coco Reef and really enjoyed it. I booked directly with them before we cruised, pass included changing room with showers and lockers, beach lounge chairs, swimming in their pool and on the beach and a lunch with one drink.

Very quiet relaxing resort which we enjoyed very much.

We also did the public beaches on other days but had agreed that we enjoyed the opportunity to have a relaxing quiet day at Coco Reef

Thanks again. I am also considering the importance of having changing rooms and lockers for valuables, so that we don't have to worry about items left on the beach while in the water. It is just my husband and myself. I had seen both Coco Reef and Elbow Beach and may try to book for at least one day. 9 days to go! So excited!

We really enjoyed our Bermuda cruise, very laid back and relaxing compared to our normal cruises of port intensive days! And we really enjoyed the Breakaway.

It was just my husband and I also, so we were never in any big hurry to go somewhere or do something, just went with the flow!

The bus system was very easy to use, same with the ferries.

Along the same line, I went to Horseshoe Bay on a hot and windy day. The umbrellas were not for rent. Also, it was so crowded that all of the rental chairs were out. Ended up on my towel with my own hat as shade. Had to seriously cut the day short. Next time I will pay to visit a resort for the day.
