Nobody liked the pants I had picked for my formal outfit, is this skirt better?

I posted a couple days ago for opinions, and the overall consensus is the top is nice but the pants were blah, so I found this skirt on my lunch hour, will this be more acceptable?

I love that skirt. I wish I could wear that top but it would not be a pretty sight. I am stressing this formal night. Help. You will be beautiful I am sure.

If you can swing it, the other day I saw a pair of shoes on Norstrom site that would be great with what you have so far... Were black with a diagional silver stripe....

Though of them as soon as I saw the top!!

This has nothing to do with the post, but....I see that you are from Wallingford. I will be visiting the University of Hartford in April, and have a cousin who lives in Wallingford. I didn't want to tell them I would be able to see them, till I knew for sure how far they are from the Campus. I will be driving up from NJ.

Can you help me...how far are you from UoH?

Hartford is not far from Wallingford at all. From downtown Hartford it is about an 1/2 hour, highway driving.

I liked the pants. They were different and so cute but think the skirt is perfect!!!

;) What a sharp outfit!!! If the pants (which I didn't see) are formal pants, I see no reason you couldn't wear either one and look great!
