Disembark for one night in Papeete

Hello,

we arrive in Papeete with the Radiance of the Seas in September on a Sunday and want to catch a ferry to Moorea. Since it is a Sunday, the ferries are not regular and we would have to reach the 8:30 ferry. Is this feasible if arrival is planned according to ship at 8:00 o clock? How far away is the ferry terminal? thanks in advance
