1) Are the tips included? I presume yes but better safe than sorry.

2) What does "refundable deposit of 10% of cruise cost"mean. Are they saying they charge this and refund it after the cruise? If so, why?

Tips are included, but I am not sure about the refundable deposit . Never heard of anything relating to a 10% deposit for sip and sail unless that is related to the cruise deposit . If related to the cruise deposit , it means you can get 100% of your deposit / down payment which is typically 75-90before the cruise .

The tips on the beverage package are included. The tips (hotel service charge) for your dinner service, stateroom host, etc. are not.

Refundable deposit means that if you cancel your reservation prior to the "paid in full" date, your deposit will be refunded. It is 10% of the cost of the trip you are booking.

Princess does not play games with the free programs, unlike NCL who says it free and then charges you the service fee on the free item. The drink package is 100% free or included within the base fare you pay, no added cost. The 10% deposit refundable is just that, 10% of the cruise fare down as a deposit, and then 100% refundable until the final payment date.

Normally the PBP is $59.99/night plus a 15% gratuity which brings it up to $68.99. The S'n'S includes the PBP and the tip. So nothing else is charged. Have a great cruise and try different adult drinks.

The 10% deposit is for the cruise and is 10% of the total cost of the cruise. It is refundable in most cases up until the time of final payment. Some sales however have a non-refundable deposit so if you cancel after making the reservation, the deposit is lost. It varies by ship and cruise date. The OP's deposit is refundable if they cancel by final payment date.
