Day at reduit/Rodney Bay beach questions

we would like to take a taxi to the Reduit/Rodney Bay beach area. We are not interested in day passes, just a lounge chair and umbrella on the beach. Where do we have the taxi drop us off?

Taxis drop off at the parking lot area between Spinnakers restaurant and Royal hotel. Large area between the two, public beach all the way along the whole beach, various chair and umbrella vendors along the stretch. Spinnakers, or Seagrapes or Hi Tide at Bay Gardens are all three good for lunch or drinks.. Feel free to walk down the beach to whichever end you like..

Unfortunately you will not have any say where the taxi drops you off. He will decide based upon the deal he has stuck with the sunbed vendor.:mad:

We stayed on the ship during our last visit last month. We are back again in February when it's our plan to give Vigie Beach a try. Rodney beach used to be very nice but recently the taxi drivers and sunbed vendors have got greedy and ruined a lovely cruise port.

I think you might be letting them have their way, cause I've never had a taxi driver tell me where i'm going!
