Press release about Internet speeds

So which is it ?? :D:D

All I can say is that I was on the ship and my daughter was quite unhappy with the internet speed. She found it much slower than on the Diamond, which also had the "old" system. It was OK for sending a few e-mails or doing an on line airline check in, and she is well aware of the need to download her work needs, go off line and type the necessary replies, then go back on line and send them.

Our friend commented that it was a good thing school was out as she would never have been able to do her school work at this speed.

I don't generally use the internet on board for anything beyond airline check in....and it works for that. However, I do find the "per minute" Princess plans to cost significantly more than the "per mb" or "unlimited" plans on other cruise lines.
