Day at St. Kitts Marriott using Marriott Rewards Points - doable or not?

We have some points left on our Marriott Rewards card that we could use towards renting a room at the Marriott resort in St. Kitts plus pay about $140.00 for the date our ship will be in port in October. We'd like to use up these points as we don't plan to renew our card in December. Has anyone successfully done this (booking a room for the night) versus buying day passes to the resort. It'll be 2 adults and 4 children (ages 9, 10, 10, and 15). TIA!
