Room service on embarkation?

Is room service available on embarkation day? Never really thought to try on earlier cruises. Wondering if anyone else has.

I have had room service for dinner on embarkation day.

I have never tried to get once I got on the ship.

That was a tip I've seen posted before.

Go straight to the room and get room service to avoid the buffet madness. Enjoy a snack, take a nap from travel day, and set alarm for mustard drill. :)

Yes, room service is available as soon as you get in your cabin. However, it takes a little longer for delivery.

DH and I had the Owner's Suite on the Imagination and I called room service for lunch after we boarded. I was told lunch not available - no room service until dinner the first day.

I have ordered a bucket of ice to chill the vino as soon as I got in the room.

That is the style of butler service you can expect with the Owner's Suite on Carnival, sadly.
