Car Rental in Portland...

I did a quick search for Car Rental Companies in Portland, but is confusing as I have never been there and dont know about the distances in reference of where we dock... I will be there in June, for a couple of hours and wanted to drive to Biddeford (about 1 hr from DT Portland) Those who know better about the area... is that a good plan? which company would you recommend... ?

Unless it's changed recently there's only one car rental place downtown... Enterprise on Marginal Way. They should "pick you up". :) If not, it's a short cab or Uber ride (highly suggest Uber in this case).

What day will you be in Portland? I don't think they are open on Sundays.

Biddeford is only about a half hour away, too.

One alternative is Uhaul!!! There's a car share about 2 blocks from the cruise pier... see if it's available for the day you need a car. I've never rented one this way, but I see this car all the time. It has a dedicated parking space. Here's a link:
