Cabanas at Margaritaville worth it?

Have been there and wasn't impressed. We had a so so, expensive lunch, good but not fantastic, margaritas and great service. The music was loud, pool crowded, stayed maybe an hour or so. I'd say, visit but don't commit to a cabana. Waste of money, IMO.

Just wondering if anyone has had an experience renting a cabana at Margaritaville in Grand Turk? Looks like the pool, bar, etc. is available for all to use. Not sure if it's worth the extra $ for the cabana? Thanks for any info!

Are you talking about a cabana by the pool or the beach? I'm only aware of the cabana on the beach.

If you need some respite from the sun and can't get chairs in some of the available shade, the cabana serves it's purpose - it was worth the cost for us.

If you do choose to use one, make sure you leave the back up for more air circulation....it gets warm under there without enough air circulation.

It's weird being on the beach and seeing the huge cruise ship docked so close!
