Golden Eagle Catamaran Recently?

Has anyone done the Golden Eagle Catamaran Tour since Irma? It has gotten some great reviews in the past so we decided to book them. Almost all of them were pre-Irma, so just wondering what it's like now.

Also, if you have gone recently, were you back in plenty of time? My DH worries we might miss the boat, ;p

With so much of the island devastated, we thought a sea based excursion would be a good way to go. We are still supporting local businesses/workers too, so hoping it's a win win.

What cruise line are you sailing with? I only see Golden Eagle as an option through Carnival, not on our own. Billy Bones is the only independent 1/2 day snorkel operator I see. I am hesitant. Like you said, not many reviews since September, and the couple that are are very recent. Based on that I'd guess they are just getting back up and running in the past 6 weeks or so.

We are with Carnival, but I booked through their website. They have us confirmed and said they were up and running. They were quick to respond to my emails. Hopeful. We were planning a beach day at first, but nothing really seemed right. I found Golden Eagle's Cat tour and it seemed like a great excursion.
