To Dublin Airport

We are considering a Muse crossing from FLL to Dublin. The ship is scheduled to arrive in Dublin at 8 AM. Can I make it to the Dublin airport for a 12:30 PM international flight back to the USA or should I plan a later flight? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks,

We are booked on the Muse cruise -- rhymes doesn't it? - you're considering.

And staying additional nights in Dublin. Why get out of town when you can get a pint or two?

I would say you are pushing it. Traffic can be very heavy indeed and getting from the docks means crossing the city. There are a couple of toll tunnels that avoid the city centre but even so...

And if he ship is late docking or you are late off...

Dublin traffic, when we drove through, was snarled, so I would not want to end a lovely cruise with a stressful drive. Lots to do there too!

i too am thinking about this jaunt but as I live only 65 miles north I unlike every other cruise I have taken do not have this problem.

It is possible to get to the airport but it does depend on a few things

1 where you are flying to if its the USA then you have a longer minimum check in time because you clear US border entry and customs before you fly so on landing you are treated as a domestic arrival.

2 Day of week Friday and Mondays busy

3 order a taxi they will know the traffic congestion do remember the currency is Euros

4 as suggested stay over Its a great place .

Any more questions I will be glad to assist and if I dont make the voyage I will speak nicely too head office and arrange a visit to Muse the day before when she is in Belfast.
