Eric2005 Posted November 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2017 I'm sailing on Queen Elizabeth tomorrow. Cunard said I can board as early as noon. Can I get to the Ocean Terminal and stay in the waiting room until they start processing at noon? I was thinking of arriving a little after 11 AM but don't want to be standing outside in the cold. Thanks
zider Posted November 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Luggage drop starts at 10.30 so that's when the doors open.
cruiseluvva Posted November 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2017 We have boarded, on two occasions, as early as 11.15, though normally it’s around midday. If you’re happy to sit, then come at 10.30 as zider says.
Ron the Rev Posted November 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2017 We have been there at about 9.00 in the morning ( no travel problems this time getting to the port from way up north). The terminal building is of course open so as to deal with those debarking. If you get there before say about 10.30 then the bag drop off won't accept your baggage, so just grab a trolley from inside the building and sit in the waiting area just inside with your luggage ,until the porters get active with the arrivals. There is an elevator and on the floor above you can grab a coffee etc.Happy cruising.
