$1.00 Deposit & Cruise Next Deposit??

For the $1 Deposit promotion that NCL is currently offering, if I book a cruise for the $1 deposit, can I also use my Cruise Next Deposit?

My concern is if I book with the $1 deposit & I end up canceling the cruise before final payment, I don't care. If I use my $250 Cruise Next deposit & cancel do I lose it?

as long as you cancel before 120 days out, your deposit is fully refundable by NCL. Some travel agents have their own deposit policies.

I just had to cancel my parents' cabin about 50 days out from our group cruise. Mom broke her hip. :( The CruiseNext coupon used for their coupon was credited back to their NCL account, and it still has its original valid dates (4 years from when purchased). As far as I can tell, the coupon was valued at $125 when they calculated the cancellation charges and credited the taxes/fees/prepaid gratuities/etc. That seems reasonable because that's what was paid for it (after taking into account the OBC).

As others have said, you will receive a full refund of your CruiseNext deposit if you cancel at least 120 days out. That is when final payment is due, so whether it is $1 or $250, you will need to decide whether or not to cancel by the 120 day mark.

Oops, I was wrong, I think the coupon was valued as $250 towards the amount paid towards the cruise. In other words, they subtracted $250 from the amount refunded to the credit card to account for reinstating the CruiseNext coupon that was used for the initial deposit.

I just wanted to correct myself in case some future CruiseCritic reader stumbles across my post. It's probably not relevant to the OP's question at this point.
