Need help with carnival's beginners scuba diving excursion

We are a party of 3. dd and her dh want to scuba dive, the beginners one. I want to but afraid I wont pass the health test but I want to go with them to stay together. will the carnival excursion let me tag along and just snorkel so we are not all separated? If yes is the price the same? Any help is appreciated

We just did snorkeling and discover scuba with Cozumel H2O. They were fantastic, everyone together on the same boat - we had ages 9-71 in our group. Check them out if you are willing to do an independent excursion.

I just booked Cozumel H2O for the introduction to scuba, 2 tank boat trip. Loes has been great answering my questions. He did mention that anyone in the group just wanted to snorkel would be fine.
