Just in case I leave it somewhere...I always put an index card with my cabin and phone numbers in my kindle.

Good idea, also if you have a digital camera, make it the 1st pic

I take a photo of my cruise card and use that as my wallpaper and lock screen background.

Not found but missing: my tube of toothpaste. Found the next morning in the shower. Later found out that our stewardess had found out she was pregnant' date=' and was a tad distracted.[/quote']

What happens on a cruise ship, stays on the cruise ship.

Although, maybe not in this case!

I found a nice pair of designer prescription sunglasses in the safe. The case was black and blended in I just thought the safe was smaller than usual as I had been using it for like 2 days already till I reached in to grab something and felt the case move. Turned them into Guest Services I hope the person got them back

A pink Carnival Cruise Lines lanyard. In the cabinet on Oasis.

One time we were at NASA and I found no less than 3 wallets that had been dropped on the floor. In one day. My husband thought they were going to start wondering where I was 'finding' them!

I have also left a pair of diamond studs in a hotel room, I think the security staff thought I was just 'phishing' too even though I had raced back there within 10 minutes of realizing. They weren't even interested in trying to help me, which was really upsetting. I wanted to call the police but we had a plane to catch.

Once I found a phone at the back of the safe soon after we embarked. We were still at the dock so I ran it to GS. Hopefully their records hadn't been erased and they were able to locate the owner.

We just got off a cruise ship 2 weeks ago and the day before disembarking someone stole my coca-cola souvenir cup right from under my eyes while my husband and I were deciding on photos in the photo store. I can't imagine what good the cup is to anyone on the last day, I mean, this was 9PM at night. I went to the nearest bar and showed them my sea pass for a replacement.

Same thing happened to us. It was womens panties that were back there.

I don't know if it qualifies, but wife reminded me of a 3rd "find". Had an interior cabin on Princess, LARGE mirrored wall for a headboard. On the second day, discovered that at the right angle, a print of someones butt was quite visible. Running joke to see if mirror ever cleaned during cruise, it wasn't.

Not really weird, but I once found in a storage cabinet next to a sofa in my HAL stateroom a woman's high heel shoes, very nice ones, I thought. I gave them to my Cabin Steward and have always wondered if the lady ever got them.

On my honeymoon cruise with my wife we were in the Casino almost every night. We did pretty good, what I won on the craps table she lost in the slots. One night we closed down the casino (last ones out), next morning we wake up and are getting ready to go on our excursion and cannot find our cash. Later that night went back to the casino and right before I am about to take cash out of the ATM the bartender tells me they found our money and to go to guest services. We got all our cash back. I did really good that night on the craps table and tiped the bartender that found the money $100. I am still greatful to this day for honest people.

Not a cruise but while in Jamica staying at a resort we found 5 women's bikinis in the dresser drawer. All of them were new with the tags still on them. I turned them into the front desk.

I would do the same thing I do with airport luggage tags-put my name and cell on but use my work address rather than my home address. Problem solved 🙂

I put my cell number, email, and Frequent Flyer number.  The airline has my address if needed.

Also one other non cruise related trip. I was sent out of town for work, I checked into a well known, higher end hotel. When I got to my room, I pulled back the comforter and sheets (something I always do) to make sure bed is fresh and clean. It was not, lets just say it looked like dog had been sleeping in bed. Before i can get my luggage and get back to lobby, one of the hotel security guards just barged into the room, I had locked the door. I not sure who was more surprised. I got a new room. I'm guessing the security guard and a female member of the hotel staff were using that room for afternoon quickies.

I was on a business trip, and for some reason, the hotel wanted me to change room (I forget why).

So lunchtime, I head to the hotel, they give me a key to my new room, I go grab my stuff from my old room and go to my new one.

Open the door, and the bed was occupied.  And NOT for sleeping. 😄

I went back to the desk, and they assigned me a new room.
