Norwegian Escape Southern Caribbean December 18

My wife and I are taking a cruise to the Southern Caribbean in December out of NYC. Our stops are San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Barbados, and Dominica. We will be on the Escape. We did get a spa balcony after reading many reviews on here. This is our 2nd cruise, and first time to these ports (Our first cruise was Alaska). Any help on what to do in these ports would be great, or must do in your opinion. We opted for the beverage package, and considering dining package too. Any help from avid cruisers that have been here, or newbies like us who just did one would be great.

We were just at some of these ports in December. In St Kitts don't do the train ride around the island. I did not feel it was worth the $125.

You don't really need to book anything through the cruise line regarding shore excursions. You can hire independent people at each of the ports. Just depends on what you want to do.
