I would turn the light on or wear a head lamp.

Other option would be to bring a few battery operated tea lights and some blue tac and stick the tea lights to the pole.

Night lite?

We didn’t do anything. Just remembered it was there. First night in a hotel room it stateroom we’re always cautious anyway.

Its so close to the bed we never really even noticed it...

It’s very close to the bed. No worries. And fabulous room and balcony. The only thing that was a bit smaller was the closet ( not sure why but it seemed to be smaller then most balcony room closets).

How is the noise from the Windjammer above? THX

We didn't do anything either but we do leave the light on in the bathroom with the door cracked a hair. None of us ever bumped into it.

If you're worried about it would wrapping a glow stick around it help? You could place it low to the floor so you don't see it from bed.

Never had a problem. Just remembered it was there.

We brought balloons with us and decorated it like a palm tree.

no noise from windjammer. Cabin is further out off the back of the ship than the dining area is

We had a similar room on the Liberty (absolutely love the room). We placed a tea light on the floor at the base of the pole. It was just enough light to warn us in the middle of the night but not wake us up. We also use the tea lights in the bathroom.
