Just for fun, what is the single worst thing you have seen a carnival cruiser doing?

On my last cruise on Sunshine a few weeks ago - we had a Spa cabin on deck 12 right by the door that exits to Serenity. We walked out one night around 9 pm and there was a guy watching porn on an Ipad - without ear buds in. He jumped up when he realized we caught him - all deer in the headlights. It was actually quite funny.

Several years ago, I was on the Sensation. I was playing Texas Holdem at the PokerPro table. The table was full, and two of the players were sloppy drunk. One of them was in a huge hand, and lost on the last card. He got so mad he used the Bud Light can he was drinking from to smash the touch pad screen in front of him. He literally destroyed it... I was next to him and got doused in beer and glass... not cool. The other drunk was cheering him on.

Carnival cut him off, and made him pay for it before he left the ship two days later.

Two unescorted kids, about 9 or 10 years old, were on one of the atrium elevators, finger painting with ice cream. Giggling like the little fiends they obviously were. The glass, the walls, the elevator buttons were just covered in ice cream.

Sloppy drunk blonde berating: first a couple of other players at the Hold'Em table, then all the players, then the dealer, and finally the pit boss - "You don't know sh*t", etc. She was dropping chips in her drink, on the floor and amazingly winning hands left and right playing blind, then coaching the rest of us that this is the only way to win.

One of our first cruises, we were walking towards lido food area. My 4 year old daughter turned around immediately and started walking the opposite way. Someone was throwing up all over and my 4 y.o. had a huge phobia of vomit. Okay, I know the person couldn't help it, but it scarred my daughter for life. Now she is 17 and still talks about it! LOL

Smoking at the railing on embarkation with no ash tray in sight. I asked him where he was putting his ashes and he said "over the side". !! I explained to him how dangerous that was. "Oh, I didn't know."

Saw a small child at the railing nearly go through to the ocean. Mom wasn't paying any attention. Scared the heck out of me.

About 7 years ago, DH and I were swinging through Lido to grab a quick dinner and the lady in front of us used the flat handled spatula to scoop up a piece of fish, sniff it and then PUT IT BACK.

I let her know that was NOT OK and she genuinely didn't get why it was a big deal.

Her words: I mean, like, I didn't lick it or anything.

...sigh...

Our last cruise on the Magic, we went to the omelet station. One lady in front, so I got in that line instead of the one next to her with 2 people. She then ordered 11 OMELETS! We waited forever. Someone said something to her, and she said her kids couldn't stand in line because they are "little." Guess they are going to be getting a LOT bigger on those 11 omelets!

I saw a lady pick up bread with her hands in the buffet line, look at it and then put it back. I told one of the guys behind and he took all of it away.

I also saw a lady carrying her young child in the pool with just a diaper on (the kid, not the lady LOL) despite all the signs saying you can't do that. They had been in for a while, that diaper probably weighed 10 pounds. That is why I don't do pools or hot tubs on a cruise.

Sometimes I think a common sense test should be given to folks who want to cruise with these "what would you do" questions. If you fail, you don't board!

Saw a toddler running around the pier with oblivious parents and ran right into the water...a crew member happened to be painting on a scaffold and jumped in after her...he was recognized at the evening show that night for saving her.

On my last cruise there were so many people in the hot tub you literally could not have fit another. I think they were all one family and there were several small children who kept going back and forth from pool to hot tub. I counted and at one point there were 14 people in the hot tub. Gross.

We were at the Cucina del Capitano one night. There was 8 of us including three children aged 10, 8 and 2. The table next to us was having a domestic and the wife was swearing at her husband and calling him some very vile names. My husband spoke to them and asked them to watch their language as we had three kids at the next table. Her response was "Oh I am so f___ing sorry!" After that she swore at her husband and they both left.

Screaming toddler in the MDR which went on for a long while, Carnival did not intervene and eventually a guest said something to the parents. This did not go well and it seemed like a fight might erupt until Carnival then stepped in and calmed the situation down. They were right back the next night though and the toddler was at it again, nothing was done the 2nd night.

Not CCL, we were on another line, but we saw a funny one. My husband and I were going for an after dinner walk and ended up in an obscure little corner of the ship, and there was a man and a woman huddled in the corner, with his hand up her skirt and her top all askew. We just kept walking and made a joke about "get a room"........

The next night we are sitting next to the guy and his wife at a show - the wife was definitely NOT the woman from the night before.

Oh my. I guess that's why they couldn't get a room! :o:o:')
