Numerous CAS Tournament Cruises

i always get invited to two or three slot tournament cruises from NCL each year. I attend as many as I can.

Now beginning in February I am invited to eight cruises. They initially balked when I booked my fourth but did book it.

I cannot take all these cruises, some even overlap. I do hope to book more. I am not a huge player. I am sapphire and only get comped insides.

Has anyone else gotten this many offer? Some do not even show up on the CAS section of the website.

I received a mailer earlier in the year with a calendar of tournaments, but I have never booked one of those. Are you receiving these offers by mail or email or phone-call?

Eight seems like a lot of tournament cruise offers for the year. Very nice that they are allowing you to book that many at once. I recall an earlier thread where a poster said CAS told them they were limiting people to having three or less cruises 'on the books' at a time. I did have one agent at CAS advise me to wait and book until I had returned from my next cruise as I had four booked. I haven't tried to get a fifth cruise 'on the books' since then.

To compare, we have been cruising four times per year with CAS. I just went from Sapphire to Ruby on my last cruise and we are usually comped balcony or mini-suites.

These are all postcards by mail. I have only booked 4 of them so far. I can’t book 1 because it overlaps one already booked. I also have 2 others booked so it is 6 right now.

That's amazing! Is this a new CAS marketing strategy this year?

I am as well. Unfortunately we don’t see that much activity here. I know a few friends I have made on cruises have not seen this much in the way of comps.
