Norfolk, VA Radisson

We stayed at the Radisson prior to sailing on the Maasdam recently. Had read some negative comments regarding the hotel, but we were very pleased with the accommodations and the services provided with their "Park and Cruise" package. We were part of a group who had 8 rooms booked there and the hotel went out of their way to insure that our stay there was enjoyable. This is an older hotel, however, our rooms were spacious and clean. Included in the price of the room were a buffet breakfast and shuttle service to and from the ship, as well as parking - other hotels in the area charge $15.00 per day for parking!!

The hotel is a 5 minute drive from Nauticus and, if you have a room facing downtown, you can see the ship coming into harbor.

When we disembarked, we called the hotel as soon as we had claimed our luggage and before we could walk to the pick-up area, the van was pulling into the parking lot. We will definitely stay at the Radisson on our next cruise from Norfolk.
