Eating after boarding

Recommended Posts

I will be boarding Oceana at around 2pm on Saturday (only 3 more sleeps:) ). Does anyone know if food will be available during the afternoon or should I have lunch before boarding?

I understand the evening meal is on an 'open' basis I assume this means we are not governed by our set time for 2nd sitting. Can anyone confirm this please, and does anyone know why this is happens?

Thanks

I seem to think that you have posted this message on Cruise Connections also.

You will get afternoon tea at around 3.30pm and it is only fly cruises that you don't have the seating requested for dinner.

Because everyone is onboard at Southampton you go to eithr first or second seating whichever you have chosen.
