FLL transportation from Port Everglades

We are coming into the port on 11/1, we have a rental car from Alamo at the airport, the agent at the 800 number did no know if they picked up at the port.

Does anyone know?

Do a Google search, find the airport office, and call them and confirm whether to do the shuttles or not.

This will provide numbers for Alamo for each of their locations in Fort Lauderdale including the airport.

I have used Budget before, they pick you up and shuttle you to their office.

There is a bus (city-type) that goes from the port to the airport on a regular basis. We have never used it as we drive.The biggest thing with that shuttle bus is that there might be several ships in port and it takes a while to get to each of them before completing their run. Since you will be arriving on a Wednesday, there probably won't be too many other ships that day. Check out the Port Everglades Web site. See if you can get information there.

We rented a car from Enterprise and used the bus from the airport to the Port and returned to the airport to pick up a car after the cruise. Very easy. Bus is run by the city/airport. The bus will stop at different ships at the port to drop off passengers. On the return, make sure you can prove to the driver that you have a car rental reservation or he/she will not let you board going back to the airport.
