Trapani and Cagliari Ports

I haven’t found much of interest in the ship's shore excursions for Trapani and Cagliari. Does anyone have recommendations?

We used Secrets of Sardinia for Calgliari. It was very good.

We stopped at Tripani a few years ago. We took a ships excursion and there was a boat trip to a small island and toured the salt flats/marshes. It was quite enjoyable and the port itself looked quite nice. We docked next to the town literally. It’s a busy traffic port for ferries. Jean.

We stayed in Erice for several nights. It is above Trapani and there is a cable car linking the two.

I would not spend any time in Trepani. Take the car up to Erice. Very attractive village. There is also a very good beach close by ( San Vito lo Capo) So good that we decided to stop there for the night after 30 minutes of driving.
