Communication on Quantum from China

Hi. My family and I are American English-speakers cruising on Quantum next summer from Tianjin. I understand the primary language onboard is Mandarin. Are the announcements generally made in English as well? For anyone in our situation who has taken this cruise, did you feel lost or have trouble knowing what was going on? Are the shows in Mandarin? Trivia/games? We love Asian cuisine, so that is not an issue. Thanks!
