Uniworld question any exercise programs?

Uniworld offered a morning stretch class or yoga class in the mornings on both of my cruises with them. Although a yogi, I skipped the classes after trying one as it was kept at a very basic level so that more could participate. I used the gym unless I knew we would be in port and able to get that FitBit up to 8 miles or more.

Both lines have bike tours and bikes for passenger use. AMA has always offered a wide choice of "active" level excursions on our cruises with them. Uniworld offered 2-3 throughout a week long cruise. We very much enjoyed a vineyard hike on our Rhone cruise that was a great workout as well as beautiful.

My. 20+ river cruises (including UniWorld) have always allowed me to walk at least 5 miles a day. I never felt the need to consider if the boat had a "dog run" where I could go around in a circle with a trainer, but to each their own. Most river front paths are frequented by walkers and joggers.

Yes, Uniworld has had a wellness coach / massage therapist on every cruise we have been on. Every morning there is stretching or yoga or some sort of activity at 7 am. It depended on the expertise of the individual wellness coach as to what was offered.

Every cruise is different, but we have gone on bike rides, Nordic walking jaunts, done afternoon chair exercises with them.... and each time it was just us. A wonderful way to get to know about the person as an individual who just happen to work on a cruise ship...and speak a multitude of languages fluently. I am always in awe.

Here are my daily programs for Castles on the Rhine: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7-MF_WeC07jQXJ6UUkyOFNzQ0E, Burgundy and Provence: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7-MF_WeC07jfmxxYlFqQ3VyYXJ2YjM4cVY4Wlp3VFo3SUV1TDd5N01nOEExdGFJeTBHTUk, and Enchanting Danube: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7-MF_WeC07jMUdQOVNtMFJJbU0. They had daily fitness activities each morning. We never went so I can't tell you more.

We also had them available on the cruise portion of our India tour: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7-MF_WeC07jd3ZZa2JoVFJDaUU. Again, we never went, but I think some others did.

In addition to the scheduled "Go Active" bike tours at a few of our ports, at two other ports the wellness coach organized group bike rides for those of us that were interested.

I prefer to sleep in so I never took part in the classes, but I used the fitness facility every day.
