My parents have an aft balcony on the Rhapsody and wanted to know if they should keep that or upgrade to a mini suite - any suggestions?

How often did your parents cruise? How often will they use the cabin?
Personally I would stay in the aft.. I love the aft cabins.

This will be their third cruise. They just can't decide if it's better to have more room in the cabin or a bigger balcony. I think the aft is probably their best bet. My Mom likes to venture around the ship more than my dad - he likes to sit in the room and read.
