Traveling with my partner and grandpa. Grandpa has issues walking, etc. We booked a D1 balcony for 3 people, but I'm worried we won't have enough space and it will be hard for him to walk, etc.

Called RCCL and they told me I could get a D4 assessible for the same price. Would you trade? the D1 and D4 are 10 cabins away from each other...

What would u do?

I think you should get it because accessible have slight larger than other room and it also have room spec that's friendly for wheelchair, etc.. more handle bars. And tend to closer to elevator.

Yes absolutely trade to the accessible cabin! I know you posted this a while ago and hopefully you have changed your cabin. I used a walker and decided not to take it on my cruise to Alaska but I did have the disabled cabin. There are handles all around the bathroom, roll in shower for the chair etc. Your Grandpa will be a lot safer. Enjoy your cruise.

I find it so much easier to have a disabled cabin, I suffer from arthritis and find it so much easier to get around the cabin and the bathroom facilities make it easier, ie no step up to the shower and additional room. If you havent already I would as they sell out very quickly.

I would jump on the chance to get the handicaped room. The room is larger and has a walk in shower.
