If you do a wedding at sea, does it have to be done before you leave port? Going on ADV out of San Juan. Can it be done on the at sea day?

you have to be married in a port the captain cannot marry you at sea it won't be a legal marriage we got married on board the explorer at st maarten.maybe you should check into hetting married in Puerto Rico since it is US territory cause in St Maarten the marriage license was in dutch and we had to pay extra to get one translated in English.
