Minimizing time standing outside Carnival's cruise terminal

This post should be removed. I asked the same question in June.

We will be departing on the Dream with an 11:30 arrival time. I understand there is no purpose in getting there early. My thought is that we will call for Uber at 11:20 to pick is up at the Roosevelt. By the time we negotiate traffic and get there it should be past the appointment time. Are the porters located at the Uber drop off area? Or is it a bit if a walk? Any tips for helping driver avoid traffic?

Thanks

Porters are right there.

There is only one way in.

There will be two lines of cars, one for dropoff and one for entrance to the parking garage. Make sure the driver knows which one to be in. There will be people directing traffic.

When we cruised on the Dream in April we arrived at about 1:30. Lines were very short.
