The YC is a group of specific cabins, it is not club that you join. You must book a YC cabin.

You "join" the Yacht Club by booking a Yacht Club cabin.

There is no Yacht Club Club. Everyone booked in the Yacht Club is the same.

Think of it as flying first class. Entry into the club is dependent on what was booked. There aren't any prerequisites to be in the club. Just book a Yacht Club stateroom (or upgrade into one) and you're in.

There are two floors at the top of the ship with luxury cabins, private restaurant, pool, lounge. If you book a cabin in this area known as the "yacht club" you get access to all of this.

NCL has the same concept....the private area on their ships are called "Haven".

You have to book a Yacht Club cabin to "join". You then automatically become a "member" for the duration of your cruise.
