Excursion Tipping

Is it customary to tip when taking an excursion sponsored by the cruise ship? Are tips included in Celebrity's excursion prices? If not what is customary in Alaska assuming the excursion meets and/or exceeds expectations?

Is it customary to tip when taking an excursion sponsored by the cruise ship? Are tips included in Celebrity's excursion prices? If not what is customary in Alaska assuming the excursion meets and/or exceeds expectations?

From my experiences in the Caribbean, Europe and Alaska, it's customary to tip about 10 percent in every region.

Gratuities are not included on any of the tours. Gratuities areat guests’ discretion. If the tour guide did an amazing job, the tips usuallyreflect that. Have a wonderful time in Alaska.
