I would not recommend this hotel for pre-cruise. We booked this hotel and later decided (that day actually) to rent a car. We drove to the hotel at 9 am. went to check in. They stated there was a $20 a day parking valet fee (no self parking) and on top of the hotel room night, they were charging a 20% hold on the credit card for any incidentals. So your $500 room for 2 nights add $100 hold and $40 for parking plus tipping the guys every time you take the car. Very frustrating! Especially when they don't advertise it anywhere when your booking thru the website.

The area its in is across the street from a county run facility. It was standard to take my morning walks and have at least 10 homeless people sitting outside the graffiti riddled area across the street. if you walk 2 blocks down, the town's court house is there also.

I think the Motel 6 might of been a better option!
