Punta Tombo entry fee

Does anyone have a current figure for park entry fee to Punta Tombo penguins?

We are hiring a couple of vans from Celebrity and going there ourselves. Just wanted to let the party know of additional costs and had trouble finding it online.

Also for anyone who has taken this option recently, what did you decide to do for lunches?

I believe we paid about $20 US per person in March '17.

We skipped lunch altogether. There are some nice looking places in Trelew if you have enough time on the way back. We drove around Trelew and decided that it would be cutting it too close to stop and eat. It's also real easy to get lost in Trelew, so either have a good map or GPS if you decide to venture into the city.

Did you go to Punta Tombo yet?  We're in port on Feb 04 and planning on renting a car to go there and would like to know the fees and whether they accept pesos only, etc..

Our group is planning a tour the middle of February and we were quoted $18.

I remember getting Pesos ahead of time for the entrance fee.  I know that in my research, I had read that they only accept Pesos.  Whether or not that was accurate, I can't tell you, because I don't recall if they also accepted credit cards.
