It may help to know the ship and the itinerary.

Other than that go with the flow, prepared to have a great time.

Most of the cruise line web sites have information for those already booked. Be sure to read that section.

Also visit the board for the cruise line you are booked with on CC and read posts and also ask selected questions.

Think through what you want to pack.

If you need a passport make sure you have it.

Even read the threads on these boards from those new because often the questions they ask are the same you might have.

I see that you have joined your Roll Call. That is a great place to meet others on your cruise. Once on the ship, read the daily programs carefully -- some cruise lines will have a get-together for solo cruisers.

Have a great time on your first cruise.

If your ship provides it, request assigned dining and a large table. It is a good way to have a nucleus of fellow passengers, as well as not dining alone. Because virtually all ships allow people to choose the option, the odds are that you would be at a table with others interested in dining with others.

If they interest you, many cruise have activities that allow for teams. For instance, most have trivia and teams of up to 6. Teams are always looking for an extra.
