HI-

I am sure the answer is someone in here, if so I apologize (please direct me if it is). We will be docking in Falmouth and are looking for a beach recommendation. We will be with my 5 year old son and parents. Looking for a nice white sand beach, with facilities and some chairs/umbrellas to rent. There are alot offered through the ship and am really not sure which to choose. We could also take a taxi to a beach that's not too far from the ship as well. Thank you for your help!

The last time we were there we did a ship excursion as the port was so new and nothing was really know around the port on cruise critic. So we did the Chukka beach break, which was nice and a little ride down the cost to a nice beach. Now this isn't offered anymore or I would highly recommend it. So taking a cruise Jan 10 with a stop in Faulmouth and doing the Red Stripe Beach excursion through the ship again. Will report back as to how it is and if similar. The last cruise we were on I had asked about this an apparently it is just down the beach from the Chukka Beach Break.

We were at Red Stripe Beach last week and booked thru RCCL. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the beach was. It's about 5 minutes from the port and is tucked away down a road with private access from the main road. It cost 28 for the excursion and 5 dollars to rent a chair. A bucket of six red stripe beers was $22. The beach also has security so there were no vendors -but the beach had their own person doing massages and hair braiding. It's a small beach that does not have inflatables and other beach entertainment. We had adults and it was a nice few hours at the beach drinking red stripe. Food is also available but we did not buy any.
