Does anyone know who the master will be on the Serenade of the Seas come March 30? Or in April?

Am interested in learning who will have the helm of Grandeur on 4-14-18. Capt. Ante stared his rotation on 2-22 but heard that he will be leaving on 4-5. That would be 8 weeks instead of the usual 10 week rotation. Will Capt. Thorsson be back early or will a new captain be coming to Grandeur? Inquiring minds want to know.;) Any advance skinny greatly appreciated.

should be Capt Thorsson. The contracts can be anywhere from 8-14 weeks with 10 weeks being the norm. As long as the 2 masters work out their schedules between them. So somebody wanted to work a shorter rotation because he had something he wanted to do at home later this year. He will have to make it up to the other captain at some point.

Usually it would be fairly easy to check the dates with 10 week rotations, but do you know when Captain Rob goes on vacation and Captain Rick takes over on SY? I'll be on a B2B (Jul 1st & July 8th) and am wondering who it will be. It would be really cool if we had one on the first week and the other on the 2nd week.

okey dokey. Everyone kept telling me when everyone's darling Marek would be back, went from 3-12 to 3-19. Everyone kept posting "he" told me he'd be back 3-12 (or 3-19). So I guess all those women swooning to hear Lindberg sing again will have to wait a little longer.

Captain Marek came back on Vision March 19. That’s when he was scheduled to be back.....and he was.

Apologies Karen, another Facebook post shows Capt Marek back on Vision. Don’t know if our time differences caused a reporting problem!!!

Does anyone have feedback on Capt. Henrik Sorensen? Looking like he'll likely be our captain for our late May Anthem cruise. Capt. Felix is one of my all-time favorite captains -- had him on the Quantum transatlantic, and my folks recently sailed with him again on Anthem. So personable and accessible, and his daily updates are always fantastic.

Capt. Ante is leaving Grandeur on 4/5. Taking a small vacation and the joining Brilliance. Home port of the Brilliance is very close to his home during the warm weather months. With two small children, I would think, this will be much less disruptive to their schedules. His children are adorable! And Capt. Ante will be missed too.

I am on Serenade now and the captain is Aris. He served us our food at the suite cocktail party! Never had that happen before.
