Drydock schedule for S class ships

I have read that all X ships will be going into drydock starting in 2019 (through 2023) - has anybody seen a schedule?

What would be the minimum amount of time Celebrity would/could give currently booked passengers notice of an S class ship going into drydock to be 'Edgified'?

I often book a future cruise a few years ahead of time while onboard, so I would not like to have my 'future cruise' cancelled by X without much notice.... When am I safe!? [emoji33]

Any ideas/thoughts?

Thank you all!

I would expect the S class to get their "Edgeification" during their next standard drydock cycle (roughly every 4-5 years) as I get the impression they will have less extensive of a redo than the M-class are getting. Like the Luminae addition, some work may even be done while in service. I think they will finish the M-class before moving to S-class.

Last drydocks for S-class are as below, followed by projected date

Solstice - October 2016 / October 2021

Equinox - April 2014/ April 2019 (may not get Edgeification until 2023)

Eclipse - April 2015 / April 2020

Silhouette - January 2015 / January 2020

Reflection - October 2017 / October 2022

Not for S class, but I was just given notice last Friday that our March 2019 Summit cruise would be cancelled due to the "Revolution renovations"; that's 13 months notice.

As reported recently by cruisers booked on both the Summit and the Millennium, this schedule has been revised and the dates are no longer accurate. I know the Millinnium is going into drydock in January of 2019.

I had old information as well re: the Reflection and had forgotten her drydock (initially planned for last fall) was pushed to this January), so yes, any drydock dates are "tentative". Millennium was originally planned for Early May for a standard 12 day visit, but with the new enhancements they have decided to pull it forward to January rather than eat into prime summer Alaska season

Since the first retrofits are Millenium and Summit (in service 2000 and 2001 respectively), I was guessing that they would start with the older ships and do two per year. (Infinity did come out a bit earlier than Summit but both launched in 2001.)

Based on that it would look like this:

2019 - Millenium/Summit

2020 - Infinity/Constellation

2021 - Solstice/Equinox

2022 - Eclipse/Silhouette

2023 - Reflection

That matches with the announced timeline of 2019-2023.

here's a video with more info:

They are actually calling the "Celebrity Revolution" - many of us here have nicknamed it "EDGEification" as much like "Solsticeization" it's bringing current ships in the fleet more in line with the newest ship class.

Nice video - thanks for sharing. Curious what the "fresh, new Oceanview Cafe" will entail.....

I just booked a B2B on Equinox for April 20, 2019 and April 27, 2019. So if she is scheduled on this list to be in dry dock on April 23, 2019 something is amiss....

As noted on the thread about the M class dry docks, the original schedule published has been completely revised.

Perhaps that is the case here?
