Thank you very much for taking the time to post this review, as well as your other ones. Very detailed and helpful to people like me who has never sailed on the Miracle and are planning to.

I'm booked on the November sailing around Thanksgiving time and I feel prepared because of your reviews.

I also noticed the very little number of kids in your pictures. I'm sure during my sailing during Thanksgiving week there'll be plenty of kids around, mine included.

A few questions if you can answer please:

-Were there any Asian or other ethnic cuisines available on the Miracle?

-Do you know if Carnival offers photo packages either before sailing or onboard?

Thank you again! I am a fan! :)

Nice review. I've sailed on the Miracle when she was in Fort Lauderdale and immediately after they added the Serenity Deck in January, 2012. I'll be sailing again on her 13 night Mexican Riviera cruise early next year. Looking forward to being onboard the Miracle again for a longer cruise this time.

Chopsticks is usually open from noon to 3:30. Unfortunately, we kept missing it

Thanks for reading along and sorry for the late response. Romancing the Sea is correct. There is a grill area called Chopsticks found in the buffet area.

I'm not familiar with photo packages as I haven't researched that previously. Hopefully someone else can chime in with some answers.

This sailing was after most spring breaks so there were few kids on board. I've sailed the week prior to Thanksgiving and that also had few kids. But during Thanksgiving week there can be a lot of kids.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you for your extensive review. You answered all of our questions (and we have alot!)

We are booked for another New Year's Eve cruise on the Miracle and didn't know what to expect after the recent drydock.

Thank you. I write my reviews to serve as my travel journal as well as to help others so I like to be as thorough as possible. Enjoy your cruise!!!

Thanks for reading along. I hope to also sail the 13 night cruise but my work schedule is busy during that time of year. We'll see. Enjoy the cruise!!!

Thank you much for all of this. I am also on the 13 day Journeys Mexican Riviera cruise in January. I don't think I need to look for any more pictures of the ship because they are all here! Full of great information!

Thank you for all the pictures. Everyone who is booked on the Miracle should see your post. We are doing a 13 dayer 31 January and your review will help us to enjoy the things that Carnival doesn't talk about.

What a wonderful and thorough review! This helps so much.

I have never been on the Miracle and I have also never sailed the Mexican Riviera (and I'm from CA!) I've been thinking about doing both and surprising my mom with a trip next year for her 60th birthday. I'm going to show this review to my sister and try to talk her into it (she has never cruised).:D

Thanks!

Kobayashi, thank you for one of the best reviews ever. You hit all the points in such detail. I have sailed the Mexican Riviera twice on the Splendor, once on Princess and once on Holland America. You helped get me excited all over again as I am heading back on the Miracle (thanks to an unbelievable casino rate). I appreciate your great review and the awesome photos. I feel like I know the ship already. She doesn't seem as gaudy and over the top as some of Carnival's other ships.

Great review. I'm cruising on Miracle in November. What did you think of the obstructed balcony? I'm currently booked in an interior but am considering upgrading to the obstructed view as that is closer to my budget.

Sorry for the late response. As a solo traveler paying only 150% of the cruise and the total price including taxes, port fees and prepaid tips less than $1k for a balcony, albeit an obstructed view, I was happy to have the cabin. I'm now open to booking another obstructed balcony for a 7 day cruise as the price makes it much more affordable. Hope that helps and thanks for reading along.
