Montego Bay Robbery

Just saw on the news where a group from Carnival Conquest out of Galveston was robbed during a banana plantation tour. Anyone have any more information?

Can't say I am surprised. I never feel very safe in Jamaica.

at least they do something about it.

I heard it on the local news tonight. No need to post the link since others have already posted one.

Since you can be robbed anywhere, I felt it would just stir up needless worries so didnt say anything.

I do feel for those passengers.

My feeling is that bad things can happen anywhere. Several years ago there were two German tourist killed in Miami when they were driving from the airport and were carjacked. Doesn't mean I won't travel to Miami. In fact, two weeks from tomorrow I'll be flying down for my Liberty cruise! I do feel bad for the tourists on the Conquest also, especially the children who were with them.
