If you are even allowed into Bar Harbor, the city counsel has new rules being processed now that would ban most cruise ships from stopping here. The city counsel wants to limited the port to cruise ships under 500 passengers.

Under 500 passengers?! The Staten Island Ferry carries more people than that.

That's Rockland, not Bar Harbor.

Feel sorry for the businesses who would be involved if those plans went through. [emoji853]

It looks like Bar Harbor is rebuilding an old ferry terminal to allow cruise ship docking though...

I guess you have never been there. Bar Harbor is packed from May to September with tourist without any cruise ships in port.

The NCL tour groups will meet in the theatre, normally, and go down in a group to join the "queue" often going a different way to get to the "front" of the "queue". That is for morning trips. For afternoon ones you will make your own way ashore to meet on the quay.

If you have booked a Ncl shore excursion, Do the group tender together or Do you have to tender by yourself ???

Depends on the tour. Read you ticket for meeting place. Some meet in the theater which gives you priority access to a tender. Some tell you to meet on shore,,,, where you are on your own to get to shore.

Suites can be escorted to the front of the line by the concierge.

Platinum priority only means that you can join the back of the line without a reservation. Only suites go to the front of the line. You still have to wait in line.

Thank you. :)

That is how that it is close to how it is done done on HAL.
