Independence of the Seas - which restaurants?

Hi,

We are taking our first cruise this Aug for 14 nights. Which restaurants would you recommend we go to as I understand we have to pay extra to eat anywhere else apart from the MDR? thanks

Complimentary food venues: Main Dining Room, Windjammer (buffet), Cafe Promenade, Sorrento's

With regard to the extra cost restaurants, we like Giovanni's the best.

Why not eat in the MDR?

I thought it would be nice to try the other restaurants too..

We are on Independence next month and have booked Giovanni's for last night and booked FNDR hopefully will do chops so will post back how they were after the refit.

All of them if you have 14 nights to play with. Get an all in package and try them. Still have plenty of nights left over to spend in the MDR and get to know your waiter. Chef’s table is particularly good.

We did 3 on a 12 night cruise and our MDR waitress recommended the best nights to skip the MDR based on menus etc
