Internet on Brilliance

I have seen posts saying the interenet service on the Brilliance is very spotty. We will be on this ship this summer. Has anyone purchased an international data plan? Does it work well? Is it costly?

If you are asking about cellular data while at sea, it is slower and very much more expensive than the ship's internet.

We were on Brilliance two weeks ago, and had no issues with the internet. Speed was adequate, plus getting connected and staying connected was not an issue like we've had on other ships.

Just off Brillance yesterday internet ok but not great!

Roaming free from our provider.

Most of the trips are port intensive so you are in a port almost every other day.

We will use on shore internet in restaurants, hot spots , etc to down load emails... much cheaper.... Found no problem with this last summer in the Mediterranean.

If you are a C&A member RCI gives some internet free or discounted packages.
