Place to eat in Cuba - local food

We booked a last minute cruise to Cuba yesterday, leave in 14 days....I booked the Old Havana Walking tour through the ship since we have never been here before.

That will be good to see the city but we are really interested in finding a local place for some good food.

Anyone been there lately and have a place close to the pier that we can have lunch at?

La Vitrola was highly recommended but we ate at La Moneda Cubana. It’s next to the Cathedral. Great lunch! We also ate at O’Reilly’s 304 the night before which requires a longer walk but it was well worth it.
