Any helpful insights as to whale watching excursion on St. Lucia? Or private tours?

The best whale watching companies in St Lucia are Hackshaw's, Exodus, and Captain Tom's. All based up north near the cruise port. They may or may not already be contacted with the cruise company. You'll need to check with them ..
Whale watching here isn't like in Alaska or California.. Smaller sperm whales and such, and sightings aren't as frequent. You're almost surely guaranteed to see some dolphins, but whales are another deal. Good luck.
