Hi Port Royal. Do you recommend a reservation for Le Petibonum?

Insider tip.

No need for a reservation, just let them know you (how many pax) are making a special trip to visit their place. ;)

Ask for a nice table :)

Leave the rest to them.......

Great! What's the best way to let them know we are coming? Email, Facebook? The website I found was in French only - Looks like they open at 10. How far from the pier is it?

Sent from my iPad using Forums

Use both system to advise, just to be shure.

Distance is about 30/35 minutes by taxi, but allow 45 minutes, to be safe.

Taxi fare? About $35.00 plus tip each way for the whole taxi.

Do not forget to try the rum selection

Have a great day :)

Hi Port Royal - Took your suggestion and emailed Le P. Got a reply back "ok" after I sent my number of pax and date of our visit! What time do you suggest we plan to arrive at Le P? Thanks again for your always helpful info!

Arrive early to get a full day vibe absorbing in, say 10.15 (no problem if early). Do the introductions first. Select your loungers, order your first drink (beer with a rum on the side ?), and just lime. You will be well looked after, and one will soon understand why LP was voted the best beach bar in the Caribbean. Mention to LP a friend of Steve Bennet (The Rum Man) recommended LP to you. LP will understand.;);)

Port Royal would it be acceptable to bring children? Ages 8, 10 and 12

Children are made very welcome, as they are the future customers of LP

Also it gives children new experiences. Plus a chance to exchange something having the wow factor with friends on social media sites ;)

Just out of courtesy, let LP know you are coming with the size of your party and the number of children (and ages) for the booking.

Do not forget to enjoy the Rhum selection at LP.

Have a great day.

A better place is

Voted the best beach bar in the Caribbean

This link does not open in Google Chrome. I also searched on google and trip advisor for it and cannot find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I loved our day-long tour of Martinique the last time here, but will need a beach break on this island. Six sea days! Have three young adults with us who will want all the bells and whistles.

I did find this beach bar after all with several pictures on Tripadvisor. Not sure if this beach is going to be as high energy as we would like. Wondering if any resorts offer beach passes?

My new itinerary includes a stop here. Would love to go for the day but can't get the webpage to open or find them on Facebook. Is there another way to contact them? Thanks
